There are so many things to do in this city that picking just six cannot begin to cover the amount of fun you can have on a trip here. However, these are a few of my favorite date ideas in NYC you might also enjoy.
1) If you are up to something out of this world,  give Mars 2112 a go. The intergalactic bar and restaurant located a few blocks from Times Square serves some of the best Martian cuisine in the galaxy.

2) Ripley's Believe it or Not! located in Times Square. The collection of strange and sometimes downright weird artifacts are not for everyone but if you have the nerve it will keep you entertained for hours with over 500 exhibits.
3) The Zoo at Central Park. Enjoy a walk through the various habitats for a wide variaty of animals from parrots to polar bears.
4) A trip to Ellis Island via Battery park to visit the Ellis Island Immigration Museum which is part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument. The museum is housed inside the main immigration station building.
5) Horse carriage ride through Central Park. What list of NYC date ideas would be complete without it?
6) A picnic basket lunch in Central Park. Follow up lunch with a look at the historic Tavern on the Green, once the second highest grossing independently-owned eatery in the country. This would be tops on this list but it is now a visitor center. Closed down for good as a restaurant and turned into a visitors center and gift shop by the NYC Parks Department.
